8 Tennessee Titans-Green Bay Packers predictions: Titans may freeze up on trip to Lambeau

The Tennessee Titans have a short-week trip to chilly Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football.

The two teams last played in 2020 in front of virtually no fans in a snowstorm in Green Bay, a 40-14 Packers win on Sunday Night Football.

On Thursday, the weather forecast calls for 27 degree temperatures and a 18 degree wind chill at kickoff, with a small chance of snow. Green Bay (4-6) needs to pile up wins to force itself into the NFC wild card race, while Tennessee still has the top seed in the AFC within reach despite the defensive injuries it has battled through all season.

Here are our experts' picks for Thursday's game:

The Titans' injuries on defense end up mattering a little too much. The game is close, Henry has his success and the score stays in the same range as the temperature, but the Packers hold on at home.

I don’t have a good feel for what to expect in this one, but the Titans are awfully beat up for a Thursday night road game.

The Titans' mighty defense will prevent Aaron Rodgers and the Packers from building on their win over Dallas.

Green Bay may have figured out its issues in last weekend’s win against Dallas. Well, maybe not entirely. But Aaron Rodgers and company take advantage of a depleted Titans defense that keeps this close.

The Titans just keep finding ways to win and they've shown the defense to keep Aaron Rodgers in check.

The Packers must have this game, while the Titans don't in Week 11. Not that it will change how difficult it is to play the Titans, who could force Aaron Rodgers to do it all by canceling out the Packers run game. The Titans' run defense against Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon will be the key matchup to watch.

Bumps and bruises along with cold temps take their toll on the Titans this week.

Tennessee isn’t as good as its record and Aaron Rodgers is the kind of guy who can make things happen. The Titans get a reality check here.
