• Dell S2722DGM 27-inch, 165 Hz 2K Monitor: now $189 at Amazon (was $289) We've seen some amazing deals on gaming monitors this Black Friday deals season, but this one might take the cake (or at least the Thanksgiving Turkey)! Amazon has the 27-inch Dell S2722DGM monitor for just $189 (opens in new tab), down from $289. This is such an impressive deal because the S2722DGM is a 2K (2560 x 1440) monitor with a 165 Hz refresh rate, something you never see for under $200 and certainly not from a monitor we gave 4 stars! When we reviewed the Dell S2722DGM in February, we praised the monitor for its strong color saturation and excellent contrast, along with its great build quality. On our light meter the S2722DGM returned a strong 350 nits of brightness. Its contrast ratio was a strong 2536:1. That's at least, in part, thanks to its VA panel. IPS panels tend to top out at 1000:1. According to our colorimeter, the Dell S2722DGM can reproduced up to 111.8 percent of the sRGB color gamut and a slightly less impressive 75 percent of DCI-P3. If you can spend more and want a larger screen, better color and contrast, consider the Dell S3222DGM, the S2722DGM's big sibling, which is 32 inches with the same 2K resolution and 165 Hz refresh rate. It's now on sale for an all-time low of $279 (opens in new tab) at Dell.

Don't Blink: The Best 360 Hz Gaming Monitor for Esports Drops Below $200! Are you an esports elite athlete who needs the fastest refresh rate and response times possible? Or do you just wonder if your 144 Hz screen is holding back your performance in CS: GO? Well, it's never been cheaper to find out, as MSI's Oculux NXG253R 25-inch 360 Hz gaming monitor is now on sale at Amazon for an amazing price of just $199–that's a third the price it was when it launched in 2021! And this monitor is still our top pick for for esports.

MSI Oculux NXG253R 25-inch, 360 Hz Gaming Monitor: was $599, now $199 at Amazon (opens in new tab)

We loved this 360 Hz monitor for its unbeatable speed, accurate color and good contrast last year when it was more than $100. Now that it's $199, it's one of the best deals we've seen this Black Friday season. So don't wait on this if you want a swift screen for esports without spending much more. A couple years ago when 360 Hz displays first started arriving on the market, they were all around $700. With , we've seen prices fall. But we didn't expect them to fall this much. The lowest price we could find on other 360 Hz monitors when we wrote this was $319 (for , which is also $130 off its normal price), so $199 is a shockingly low price. Grab this one soon as we would expect it to sell out.

When we reviewed MSI's Oculux NXG253R back in 2021, we gave it an Editor's Choice award for its Good contrast thanks to a variable backlight, and its tested input lag was 17ms, faster than competitors, making it the fastest monitor we'd tested. It is only a 25-inch panel, but that's the norm for these hyper-quick gaming displays. And really, at $199 I wouldn't expect much more than 25 inches for a gaming monitor with less than half this refresh rate.

Here is the NXG253R's measured input lag in our tests, compared to some other swift displays. It's more responsive than all its competition.

I could offer up more details about this excellent speedy panel, like exactly how its color accuracy, contrast and build quality stood out in our test. But this deal seems likely to sell out. So feel free to read our full review with loads of testing. But don't wait too long if you want a super-fast display at an unprecedented $199 price. Like an enemy on a 60 Hz screen, this deal could be gone quicker than you can click. Maybe you should plug in your 8,000 Hz mouse to give you an edge.
