The Tampa Bay Buccaneers face their arch-rival New Orleans Saints on primetime Monday Night Football. Here’s how the game will go for the Buccaneers.

You know it’s funny. Many people coming into this season were looking at this Monday Night Football game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints as one of the marquee matchups of the season. How could they not? The Buccaneers and Tom Brady were expected to stay contenders while the Saints were expected to be frisky to surprisingly decent. Suffice to say, that hasn’t happened.

Presently the Bucs are sitting ugly in first place of the NFC South with a record of 5-6 while the Saints are nosediving at 4-8 without their own first round pick. That said, when these two play it’s always must-see television due to the bad blood between these two rivals. That will still be the same in front of a nationwide audience.

For how the game itself will go, we just want to say that this is your official spoiler alert. You’ve been warned.

Much of the bad blood in this rivalry is centered around Mike Evans and the secondary of the Saints, especially cornerback Marshon Lattimore. Remember the kerfuffle earlier this season that lead to the suspension of Evans of course. That said, Evans has also had his way with the very same secondary, especially Lattimore. That even comes with the offense generally struggling with the Saints defense, at least in the regular season.

However, this game is in Tampa Bay, with Brady (and the run game) fired up after a loss, and the GOAT is a different animal this time of year. Raymond James Stadium will resemble more or a jungle.

The Brady to Evans connection will find what was missing these last few weeks, and the timing couldn’t be any better. That, plus the continuing emergence of Rachaad White, plus the stout defense, will power the Bucs to a much-needed win.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will win this game in their typical fashion by a score of 24-10, but with signs of life that fans should find uplifting. There is your spoiler. Do with this information what you will quantum leapers.
