The Chicago Bears are going to play the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night football. It is going to be a spectacle out there in LA as the season kicks off. However, the NFL season actually kicks off tonight when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play the Dallas Cowboys. It is two great NFC rivals that believe they will be playoff teams in 2021. It is going to be a lot of fun to watch as fans but there is a lot for the Bears to learn during this game.

If each team stays healthy, they are going to probably be better than the Bears. They certainly have better quarterbacks (at least as long as Andy Dalton is starting) which makes a big difference. Tom Brady and Dak Prescott are going to put on a show this season if they both stay healthy.

Brady and the Buccaneers are the defending Super Bowl champions. The Bears were actually one of the few teams that beat them in 2020 but that was early in the Tom Brady-Tampa Bay relationship. Now, they are a powerhouse team ready to try and be the first team to repeat as champions in two decades.

As for the Cowboys, their season could go many different ways. They have a lot of great players on the offense to help out Dak Prescott including Ezekiel Elliotte, Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb. If they all play to their potential, they could contend in the NFC East.

The Chicago Bears could learn a lot from the first game of the NFL season.

If the Bears were smart, they would have Justin Fields watch Tom Brady as much as they can. What he does both on and off the field is brilliant in every way and they should want Justin watching Tom as often as he can.

This is already a big game for the landscape of the NFC. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will likely go to the playoffs as the NFC South champions. As for the Cowboys, they will likely compete for the top spot in the NFC East and if they fall short they will compete with the Chicago Bears for one of the Wild Card spots. It is probably in the best interest of the Bears to see the Cowboys lose as much as possible.

As mentioned before, the Bears have already played this version of the Buccaneers. They will get another chance to play them late this year. This is an opportunity for the Bears to see how they play on a big stage a few weeks ahead of their match. Regardless of what happens, this is going to be a lot of fun to watch as football is finally back.
