The Rams' fears have been confirmed.

Cooper Kupp will miss the remainder of the season after being diagnosed with a torn ACL suffered Sunday against the Seahawks, coach Sean McVay confirmed Monday.

McVay said he hoped Kupp would undergo surgery this week to repair the ligament.

Kupp left the game in the fourth quarter Sunday with a knee injury, and, after the team's 36-31 win, McVay told reporters the injury was "not good," per NFL.com.

Kupp undwerwent an MRI on Monday that confirmed the severity of the injury.

The wide receiver went down on the field in pain after running a route that didn't appear to involve any contact. After being tended to, he limped to the locker room.

The team listed it as a knee injury and he didn't return. Kupp missed two games in October with an injury to his left knee, which he was holding after going down.

The second-year player has 40 catches for 566 yards and six touchdowns this season. He had five catches for 39 yards before leaving the game Sunday.
