Dolly Parton refuses to retire
Miles Renner (Lead-Deadwood wrestling): Renner, a junior, won the 145 pound title at the Black Hills Conference tournament this past weekend in Lead with two pins and a tech fall in the finals. Miles is currently ranked fifth in the state at 145 lbs.
Anthony Budmayr (Belle Fourche boys’ basketball) Budmayr scored 17 points, grabbed eight rebounds, six assists, one steal in an 83-58 win over Lead-Deadwood. Budmayr scored 20 points, pilled down eight rebounds, six assists, and one steal in a 57-54 win over Redfield. Budmayr hit the go ahead/game winning 3-pointer with less than 45 seconds left in the game that put the Broncs on top 55-52. Budmayr scored 18 points, hauled down six rebounds, had 10 assists, and two steals in a 71-46 win over Langford.
Landry Haugen (Sturgis Brown girls’ basketball): Haugen averaged nine points and six rebounds last week in games against Rapid City Christian and Rapid City Central.
