His other screen credits include the TV series "The Flash" and movie "Rise of the Planet of the Apes."

Spectators gave Felton applause as he headed away for treatment. There is no immediate word on his condition.

Members of the Junior Ryder Cup team caddied for the celebrities and some walked away wiping tears from their eyes.

Felton was tended to while on the ground for some time before a cart arrived. He ultimately got to his feet and was assisted to the cart before being taken off the course.

The European team included soccer star Alessandro Del Piero, former Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks player Toni Kukoč, hockey star Teemu Selänne, actress Stephanie Szostak and former NBA player Sasha Vujačić.

The American team was made up of former U.S. Olympic hockey gold medalist Mike Eurzione, Green Bay Packers Super Bowl champion A.J. Hawk, speedskating gold medalist Dan Jansen, comedian Rob Riggle, surfer Kelly Slater and professional wrestler Mandy Rose.
