How To Complete The Starting Quests In ‘Gray Zone Warfare’

Gray Zone Warfare is out now and players are flooding into the servers, but once you have figured out the basics it's time to start completing the opening round of qtasks, which can be challenging if you don’t know what to look for.

When you first load into Gray Zone Warfare the vendors will give you the first three tasks to complete in Gray Zone Warfare. For each faction, these quests will be different as the starting town for each faction has different layouts, but they all follow the same format, and helpfully the starting quests feature coordinates of where you need to go in the descriptions. But if you need to know exactly where you need to go check the locations below.

How To Complete The Meds Wanted Task In Gray Zone Warfare

The Meds Wanted task is given to you by Lab Rat at the start of the game and tasks you with finding a box of medical supplies in your starting town and taking it back to Lab Rat. The supplies can be found in a building next to the water tower in each of the starting towns.

When you get to the location where the water tower is, there is a small single-story building with two rooms. Go to the room on the right as you head into the compound and towards the back of the room there is a shelf, and mid-way up that shelf is the box of supplies you need to take. The box is 4x4 so you will need to make sure you have enough room in your inventory to take it, and if you die you will drop it and need to find it again. However, you can put it in your SafeLock container to keep it safe if you die. Once you get the package back to your base you need to hand it over to Lab Rat in the task menu to complete the task.

For players in the Lamang Recovery Initiative faction, you can find the water tower in map square 200 163.

For players in the Mithras Security Systems faction, you can find the water tower in map square 172 118.

For players in the Crimson Shield International faction, you can find the water tower in map square 140 161.

How To Complete The Cache Retrieval Task In Gray Zone Warfare

The Cache Retrieval task is given to you by Gunny at the start of the game and tasks you with finding and marking two caches in your starting town. One can be found in the town’s lumberyard and the other can be found in one of the town’s warehouses. When you find each cache you will need to place a tracker on it, which Gunny will give you when the quest starts but you need to take it with you in your inventory.

The lumberyard cache can be found in the small shack building to the left side of the lumberyard in each town. Head towards the desk at the back, and just before it there is a pile of wooden crates that is where you need to place the tracker. Providing you have one on you, you can just interact with the location to place it.

The warehouse cache can be found in the small lean-to next to the warehouse towards the back of the building. This tiny room has two doors, and when you go into it you will see a pile of wooden boxes. You can place the tracker on top of the wooden boxes to complete the quest.

For players in the Lamang Recovery Initiative faction, you can find the warehouse cache in map square 201 164, and the lumberyard cache in map square 200 162.

For players in the Mithras Security Systems faction, you can find the warehouse cache in map square 172 117, and the lumberyard cache in map square 172 119.

For players in the Crimson Shield International faction, you can find the warehouse cache in map square 140 163, and the lumberyard cache in map square 141 161.

How To Complete The First Recon Task In Gray Zone Warfare

The First Recon task is given to you by Handshake at the start of the game and tasks you with finding three locations in your starting town, a gas station, a convenience store and a demolished building. Unlike the other tasks, all you have to do to complete each of these is walk near the area you are looking for. So head to the location on the map and look for the landmark. They are all fairly obvious so once you are in the right place should be easy to spot.

For players in the Lamang Recovery Initiative faction, you can find the gas station in map square 200 160, the convenience store in map square 201 163 and the demolished building in map square 203 163.

For players in the Mithras Security Systems faction, you can find the gas station in map square 170 121, the convenience store in map square 171 188 and the demolished building in map square 170 116.

For players in the Crimson Shield International faction, you can find the gas station in map square 144 161, the convenience store in map square 141 162 and the demolished building in map square 141 165.
