Kevin Durant on Charles Barkley: 'I don't know why they still ask for this idiot's opinion'

Charles Barkley has picked at the Brooklyn Nets as much as anyone in the public sphere since Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant joined forces — and he only piled on when the idea of James Harden moving to Brooklyn became a possibility. Earlier in the season, things escalated a bit when Durant gave Barkley a one-word response when joining the TNT crew after a broadcast. Barkley brought up the encounter when Joe Harris joined the broadcast after the game, so the Basketball Hall of Famer isn’t letting things go.

Turns out Durant isn’t either. He had something to say about Barkley on a recent instagram post from BasketballNews.com’s Etan Thomas, where he shared a quote from Barkley — in which he expressed athletes should get preferential treatment when it comes to COVID-19 vaccines.”

“I don’t know why they still ask for this idiot’s opinion,” Durant wrote, per BasketballNews.com.

On a separate post Instagram post, which came in response to Shaquille O’Neal’s recent comments to Donovan Mitchell about his lack of faith in the Utah Jazz guard, Durant came at all the old basketball players critical of current ones.
