The Las Vegas Raiders selected Oregon OL Jackson Powers-Johnson with the 44th pick in the 2024 NFL draft. Taking over at center for the Ducks in 2023, Powers-Johnson was an All-American and won the Rimington Trophy as the top center in the nation, anchoring a strong OL unit for the Ducks. Here’s what to know about Powers-Johnson.

A unanimous All-American during his first full season as a starter, Powers-Johnson worked as a reserve his first two seasons and made one start at guard before taking over full time at center in 2023. He started the first 13 games of 2023 and led all FBS centers with an 84.3 PFF grade and 90.6 pass-blocking grade.

Powers-Johnson is listed at 6-foot-3 and 328 lbs. He's a Draper, Utah native and attended Corner Canyon High School (Utah).

Played in 36 games over three-year career at Oregon and started 14, including 13 at center in 2023 before opting out of the Fiesta Bowl to prepare for the NFL draft.

Powers-Johnson won the Rimington Trophy as the nation’s best center after a season filled with accolades, and helped the Oregon offensive line become a finalist for the Joe Moore Award given to the nation’s best OL.

Powers-Johnson impressed during on-field drills at the NFL Scouting Combine but did not run the 40-yard dash. His 32-inch vertical tied for 15th among the 53 offensive linemen to jump and he performed 30 bench press reps of 225 pounds, tied for fourth among the 28 linemen that participated.
