Reba McEntire is doing OK after being rescued from an old building with a collapsing staircase.

The country star, 66, was one of seven people rescued from a historic building in Oklahoma after a staircase collapsed Tuesday, leaving them temporarily trapped on the second floor of a three-story building, City of Atoka Emergency Management Director Travis Mullins confirmed to USA TODAY.

According to Mullins, the local fire department used a ladder to assist those who were trapped and help them to safety, which was shown in a video obtained by KXII News 12. No one was hospitalized from the incident.

McEntire reassured fans that she and her team, who were touring the historical site, were safe following the accident.

"Thankfully, no one was seriously injured. We were safely evacuated from the building thanks to the quick response from the Atoka fire and police departments," she said in a statement to USA TODAY.

Last year, McEntire revealed she was dating actor Rex Linn during her "Living & Learning with Reba McEntire" podcast.

Linn, 64, played Frank Tripp on "CSI: Miami" from 2003 to 2012 and has appeared on "Better Call Saul" since 2016 and on "Young Sheldon" since 2017. According to McEntire, she and the actor went out for dinner in January, before lockdown orders started taking hold throughout the country in following months.

"It's good to have a person to talk to, laugh with, get into subjects about what's going on, discussions about our past, our family, funny stories, him being an actor, me being an actress," she said at the time.

"He's very into my music. I'm very into his career. It's just great getting to talk to somebody who I find very interesting, very funny, very smart and is interested in me, too."

The singer added that she's looking forward to what the future has in store for her and Linn.

"Whatever happens in the future, at this point, we're very stable, and it's been a good six months, and I look forward to having more things to look forward to," she said.
