Syracuse, N.Y. — The 2022 Syracuse football team has landed on hallowed ground.
With legendary quarterback Don McPherson among the 33,373 in attendance in the JMA Wireless Dome, Syracuse has a 5-0 record for the first time since his 1987 squad started with the same record and finished 11-0-1. It’s just the fifth time since World War II Syracuse is 5-0 following its 59-0 win over Wagner.
