Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For Area South of Route 20

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for a large part of New York State, primarily south of Route 20. The Watch is in effect until 11:00PM Saturday.
At 12:42PM a line of strong Thunderstorms was located along a line from Exeter Center to Gilbertsville, moving east at35 MPH. Winds in excess of 40 MPH are possible with this system.
These storm may intensify, be sure to monitor media for updates.
