Sports' Week 1 NFL picks: Browns-Chiefs highlights schedule for opening weekend of 2021
The 2021 NFL season has arrived, the Cowboys and defending champion Buccaneers opening the proceedings Thursday night in Tampa.
But Week 1 will serve up 15 more matchups, those other 30 teams just as hopeful they're hitting the on-ramp to a road that will end in suburban Los Angeles for Super Bowl 56.
Perhaps the best pairing of the weekend will occur at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday afternoon, when the Kansas City Chiefs host the Cleveland Browns in a rematch from last season's playoffs and potential preview of the next AFC championship game.

The lineup will conclude with a pair of prime-time games – Bears at Rams on Sunday evening and Ravens at Raiders on Monday – that will feature a Los Angeles fan base that gets to experience its first regular-season game at SoFi Stadium, followed by Las Vegas' official initiation into the NFL as Silver and Black fans descend on the "Death Star" (Allegiant Stadium).
