Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2: How Long Are the Last Two Episodes?
Stranger Things Season 4 comes out in two parts: Volume 1 consisting of seven episodes that arrived on Netflix on May 27, and Volume 2 which is set to arrive on the streaming platform on July 1. The finale episode of Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1 had a runtime over the 90-minute mark, which made it the longest episode in the series.
Season 4 Volume 2 will consist of two episodes and they are going to have even longer runtimes. Episode 8 will be one hour and 25 minutes long, and Episode 9 will be two hours and 19 minutes long. That is nearly as long as typical feature-length movies!
Episode 8 is titled “Papa" which could see Eleven leaving Dr Brenner and reuniting with Hopper. Episode 9, which is the finale, is titled “The Piggyback”, which does not give us any clues on what the subject of the episode could be about. But we can tell that it will be packed with a lot of action and plot development judging by the runtime.
In Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1, we saw Eleven get her powers back as Vecna trapped Nancy in the Upside Down. Vecna’s identity also gets revealed in the season.
Stranger Things’ fourth season came after a three-year hiatus and follows three main plotlines as the show’s characters split up between Hawkins in Indiana, California, and Russia. Several teenagers are killed in Hawkins, which Dustin and his friends discover to be a powerful creature’s doing, who lives in the Upside Down. The gang names this creature Vecna, and try to stop it from causing more havoc in the town.
