‘This Is Us’ season 5 premiere | How to watch, live stream, TV channel, time
This Is Us returns with a two-hour season five premiere tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC. You can also watch the show live on FuboTV, and new episodes will be available on Peacock the following week. The season four finale of This Is Us, “Strangers Part Two,” came as a closer to the very first episode of the season, “Strangers Part One.” We were left with so many baby-related problems and tragic deaths, but season five promises to be a new start for the Pearson family.
Season five won’t be without its own struggles. On whether Covid-19 would be present, creator Dan Fogelman told Entertainment Weekly that, “Our show has different characters in different stages of life, older characters battling illness. We have a character who’s a local city councilman in a major metropolis. We have characters who have been bathed in privilege as movie stars on the West Coast.”
He continues that, “Not every character, every storyline is going to be all COVID all the time. It’s going to be present in the world as it’s present in our lives right now. Our lives haven’t stopped, but they’ve been pretty altered.” So you can expect to see at least a little reflection of our world right now.
