Sep.15 -- Australia is joining a new Indo-Pacific security partnership with the U.S. and U.K. The pact will allow Canberra to acquire nuclear-powered submarines. The framework comes as China expands its military presence in the region, though a senior U.S. official said it isn’t targeting China or any other country. Hervé Lemahieu, director of research at the Lowy Institute, shares his views on the pact. He speaks with Haidi Stroud-Watts and Shery Ahn on "Bloomberg Daybreak: Australia."
