Beijing Braces for Covid With Makeshift Camps

Workers in Beijing are constructing a temporary Covid quarantine facility of prefabricated structures the size of shipping containers, and tents are popping up in a park that could be used to house epidemic control staff. Meanwhile, Foxconn Technology Group has begun offering a 10,000 yuan ($1,400) incentive to staff in China who choose to leave after violent protests rocked the world's largest iPhone factory.
