Defense Sec. Mark Esper: Don't support deploying active-duty troops to respond to civil unrest in DC

Secretary of Defense Mark Esper told reporters at the Pentagon on Wednesday he does not support invoking the Insurrection Act, a law from 1807 that would allow President Donald Trump to deploy active-duty U.S. troops to respond to civil unrest in cities across the country.
