WNBA star Brittney Griner is coming home after the Biden administration secured her release from a Russian Penal Colony. Griner was arrested on drug charges at a Russian airport last February. Griner's release was part of a prisoner swap with convicted arms dealer Viktor Bout. He was serving a 25-year sentence in the U-S on charges of conspiring to kill Americans, acquiring and exporting weapons, and providing support to a terrorist organization The Biden Administration was unable to bring Former Marine Paul Whelan home. Whelan is serving a 16-year sentence after being accused of spying, which the US denies. Sources tell NBC Russia is refusing to release Whelan without getting a Russian spy in return. The US is insisting it doesn't have any Russian spies in custody.
