After being roundly beaten by China 3-0 in the preliminary round, the U.S. women's sitting volleyball team regrouped, winning every subsequent match to gain a rematch with China for the gold. In a hard-fought match, the U.S. women won 3 sets to 1 to win the gold medal for the second consecutive Paralympics.
