Former President Barack Obama turned 59 years old on Tuesday.

That meant the 44th president of the United States received birthday wishes from around the world, including from Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

LeBron wrote on Twitter: "Happy Bday to my President and my friend @BarackObama!! Love."

The tweet included a highlight of James' dunk from a Team USA exhibition game held in Washington against Brazil in the build-up to the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Obama attended that game with his wife, Michelle, and then-Vice President Joe Biden. It was a sports moment that Obama appeared to thoroughly enjoy.
