PSEG reported that nearly 340,000 of its customers on Long Island have been impacted by the storm.

The hardest hit areas to this point were in the Hempstead, Levittown and Westbury area. Tens of thousands of customers have seen restorations thus far.

Dozens of videos sent into the News 12 Long Island newsroom depict downed trees and wires as a result from the mighty winds from Isaias.

Dan Eichorn, COO of PSEG, says they have 2,500 additional line workers from out of state working to fix outages.

Those who lose power can report it by calling 1-800-490-0075, or texting "OUT" to PSEGLI if you're pre-registered. Many customers have reported that trying to contact the text line or use the website have been unsuccessful.

In response to the issues, a PSEG spokesperson says, "We are experiencing communication issues and are working with Verizon and other partners to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.”

News 12 is told that communities like Rocky Point and Shoreham have no power, but the PSEG map has no reports to this point.

Suffolk Executive Steve Bellone says, "Residents are urged to call 311 w/ any non-emergency issues related to Tropical Storm Isaias to help keep our 911 operators & phone lines free for those in need."

Isaias has churned up Long Island's waters and created dangerous conditions.
