Jeffries: 'Sick and cynical' for GOP to blame Pelosi for Jan. 6

The head of the House Democratic Caucus hammered Republicans on Tuesday for blaming Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) for the violent assault on the Capitol on Jan. 6. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) said it was "sick and cynical" for House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) to blame Democrats for an attack orchestrated by supporters of former President Trump.
